Theme: We were delighted to collaborate with Tibbatts Abel on the interior transformation of The Huxley, a much-loved Edinburgh hotspot that balances contemporary comfort with refined charm. Our role involved the curation and supply of all framed artwork, live planting, and decorative accessories, helping to craft an inviting and visually cohesive environment.
The interiors of The Huxley celebrate soft, residential-style elegance with a modern twist. A warm, earthy colour palette of terracotta, blush pink, ochre, and soft teal wraps the space in calm, while bold patterned upholstery and rich wooden finishes add texture and sophistication. The atmosphere is one of effortless comfort, ideal for relaxed brunches, intimate drinks, or casual meetings.
Our framed artwork collection was carefully curated to complement the space’s eclectic but balanced aesthetic. Featuring a mix of vintage illustrations, abstract forms, and locally inspired prints, the artwork acts as a visual anchor throughout, sparking interest while reinforcing the interior’s layered character. Gallery-style arrangements and salon wall moments add depth and a sense of storytelling to each seating area.
Lush live planting brings the interior to life—softening corners, breaking up lines, and introducing a sense of calm organic flow. From banana palms to leafy tabletop pots, the greenery enhances the residential feel and infuses the venue with natural charm.
To complete the experience, we selected decorative accessories that subtly elevate the design narrative—ceramic vases, curated book stacks, and textured objects that add personality without clutter. Every element was chosen to feel thoughtful, familiar, and quietly stylish.
The result is a space that feels both elegant and lived-in—a welcoming haven in the heart of Edinburgh. We’re proud to have played a key role in shaping this unique, design-led destination alongside Tibbatts Abel.
